Yes – any offence from now on, with the exception of a few provincial offences.

  2. very informative videos! I am currently studying for my evidence NCA examination and I was a bit confused on marital privilege due to the changes in the CEA so you cleared things up for me . However, Can a spouse be compelled to testify for the prosecution on ANY offence now? Because I know before they had a few exceptions for testifying for prosecution such listed in 4(2) and 4(4)- offences against the spouses liberty, health, etc and children of the spouse ( thats what it still says in my evidence book as outlined in the syllabus. Do those still exist or can a spouse be compelled to testify against any offence?
